What Kind of Advanced Dental Training Do You Have?
Over the years, Dr. Kutis has invested countless hours into continuing education so that she can provide her patients with the latest techniques in cosmetic and comprehensive care. In particular, she has completed the core curriculum of the Dawson Academy, which led to her becoming a Dawson Academy Scholar and a member of the Dawson Alumni Academy. She is also a member of the prestigious Spear Study Club and the Faculty Club of the Spear Study Club, which is an honor awarded to only 1,000 dentists across the country.
Finally, Dr. Kutis is a teacher at the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, where she travels twice a year to teach other dentists how to place veneers and fix larger, complex full mouth reconstruction cases. Where Did You
Having grown up in Chicago, Dr. Kutis completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2006, followed by a General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado. Before this, she worked as a dental assistant for well over 20 years! During her additional year of training, she pursued more complex dental and medical case management, becoming very skilled in IV sedation, wisdom teeth extraction, and dental implants (both placement and restoration). Later on, she became Director of the General Practice Program and an associate professor at the University of Colorado.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When she isn’t busy improving teeth, Dr. Kutis spends most of her time raising Ava Grace, her little girl. Some of her favorite hobbies include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, scuba diving, and traveling. She’s also very good at badminton! She placed 1st in the state at the sport at one point and even played with the legendary Paul Newman.
