Enamel erosion is a condition that occurs when the protective outer layer of teeth, known as enamel, gradually wears away due to various factors such as acidic foods and drinks, frequent vomiting or acid reflux, aggressive tooth brushing habits, or certain medical conditions. When this happens, the underlying dentin becomes exposed, which can result in heightened tooth sensitivity and discoloration.

The treatment options for enamel erosion aim to protect the remaining enamel and prevent further damage. One effective option is remineralization therapy using fluoride-based products like mouth rinses or gels that help strengthen the existing enamel by replenishing lost minerals. Dentists may also recommend dental bonding, where a tooth-colored resin material is applied to affected areas to restore both aesthetics and strength. In more severe cases where significant loss of enamel has occurred, dental crowns or veneers might be necessary for proper protection and restoration of the affected teeth's structure. Overall, early detection combined with appropriate preventive measures can significantly help manage enamel erosion while preserving oral health.

Incredible staff, caring, compassionate & most thorough dental professionals I have ever encountered. The front desk staff are the sweetest, most helpful humans and hygienists amazing… the best cleaning but also gentle. Dr. Kutis is extremely thorough focused on the overall patient’s health, consulting real-time with orthodontics or oral surgery if needed and a perfectionist on the aesthetic side. Would trust no one else for any general or cosmetic dentistry. Grateful our family found this practice, absolutely could not recommend enough. 5++++ stars.

Dr. Kutis is very caring and is concerned with her patients. She has updated instruments to make her timing efficient and quicker. Her office staff is very accommodating to the patients needs, they even helped with my granddaughter. They also helped me with affordable insurance and cost.
I have had many terrible experiences with the dentist in my past and was terrified of going to the dentist but Dr. Kutis goes beyond making it comfortable and pain free.
Thank you Dr. Kutis for getting me through cavities and crowns without fear and pain and thank you for not taking advantage of procedures I did not need. Your awesome!!!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Dr. Susan Kutis. After having a really traumatic experience with my previous dentist, I was nervous to start over somewhere new. My endodontist, who I really trust, recommended Dr. Kutis—and I’m so glad she did. From the very first visit, she made me feel comfortable and cared for. She was right on time, incredibly kind, gentle, and professional. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her patients and their experience. I left feeling not only relieved, but truly grateful to have found someone I can trust with my dental care. I feel so lucky to be her patient.

This office is so kind and professional. They treat you like family and are very welcoming. I moved my whole family to this office and we are so happy. They are reliable and trustworthy and that makes all the difference in patient care.

Very, very friendly staff. They are welcoming and care about you. All the dental professionals are knowledgeable and personable. Dr. Kutis, and all the staff create an environment that I feel welcome and at ease (as best as it could be to go to the dentist). Dr. Kutis is patient and thorough, does outstanding work, and I enjoy my conversations with her. I think it’s about as good of an experience anyone could have when going to the dentist!
