Better Patient Experiences with Advanced Technologies

Many dental offices continue to incorporate traditional equipment and techniques into their daily operations. While this is fine for them, Dr. Kutis and our team believe in offering patients something better. Within our modern dental office, we house some of the most advanced technologies available. Not only can they make it easier for patients to see their smiles up close, but they provide greater accuracy when preparing treatment plans and faster healing for reduced recovery times. Review the information below to learn what you can expect to see when you arrive for your next visit.

Committed to State-of-the-Art & Comfortable Dental Experiences

  • More Accurate Treatment Planning with the 3D Cone Beam Scanner
  • Real-Time Viewing for Patients with Our Intraoral Cameras
  • Faster Recovery Times Thanks to Soft Tissue Lasers

Intraoral Cameras

Being able to see what the dentist sees is usually something most patients would appreciate. This possibility is now a reality thanks to the use of intraoral cameras. These camera-tipped, handheld devices take images of your teeth and project them onto a computer screen that is viewable by you and our dental team. This makes it easy for us to explain and show problem areas as well as discuss the importance of treatment.

All-Digital X-Rays

In the last several decades, dental technology has advanced dramatically, but in many cases, these innovations have not directly affected the patients. Digital X-rays are a notable exception. Not only are these X-rays faster and easier to capture, improving patient comfort, but digital X-rays also produce higher-definition images, making it possible for Dr. Kutis and her team to diagnose and treat concerns in the earliest possible stages.

Traditional X-rays had to be developed using hazardous chemicals, which was a time-consuming process, and these lower-quality images could only be viewed on specialized light boards. Digital X-rays are instantly accessible from any computer, and we can zoom in, color code, or otherwise enhance these images for improved patient comprehension. These digital images are easily stored and transferred, decreasing the time between preparation and completion of cosmetic and restorative care.

3D Cone Beam Imaging

Dental implant placement is just one type of treatment that is better executed when dentists use a 3D Cone Beam Imaging system. This unique piece of equipment rotates 360 degrees around your head to capture hundreds of images. It sends the photos to a monitor that produces a three-dimensional model of your oral and facial structures, including the bone, teeth, nerves, tissues, and other important components. Using these images, our team can better navigate and prepare your treatment plan for a more seamless and successful procedure.

Soft Tissue Laser

Our Gemini diode laser is a state-of-the-art solution that makes removing soft oral tissue easier than ever before. Produced by Ultradent, it gently cauterizes the treatment area when performing periodontal therapies, deep cleanings, gum recontouring, crown lengthening, the removal of cold sores, or frenectomies. With this unique device, you can expect faster healing and reduced recovery times, which makes for a more enjoyable experience.
